Upcoming Litters

These two were paired 09/24/09

RRR Dobbie Junior x RRR Evolet
Black Bareback Rex x Powder Blue Bareback Rex
We would be expecting smoothcoat, rex, and double rex coats in Black, American Blue, Russian Silver, and Russian Blue. We'd likely see some RED as well. We would have a small chance for downunders in this litter as well along with Bareback and capped markings. Both parents are very calm and should be a great pairing for some cute and cuddlys. These will come with a non-breeding contract.

Update: November 7th, 2009: It doesn't look like we are expecting. She's lost the rounded baby look on the belly and appeared to be back in heat two days ago. We'll palpatate her abdomen tonight and see what we think. We'll either pair her back to DJ or perhaps try pairing her with RRR Melod.

October 13th, 2009: Evolet is looking a little pudgy. Her earliest expected due date is 10 days away. Her mother didn't show until late so she may do the same. If she turns out not to be pregnant then we will try pairing her with RRR Sylva. The results would be much the same, with the exception of double rex coats.

October 7th, 2009:We have witnessed several matings between this pair. We will be expecting their birth between October 23rd and probably November 2nd. Because of her petite size, this is likely to be a small litter. We already have reservations for 4-6 females, so if you are interested in adopting you are probably going to have more luck adopting boys from this litter.

We are considering possibilities for our next litters, to be paired this fall to early spring. Remember, these are only suggestions and these pairings may or may not occur. Dam and sire are subject to change.

RRR Melod x RRR Isabeau
Russian Blue Agouti berkshire rex x Russian Silver Berkshire Downunder
We would be expecting rex and smooth coat dumbos in Russian blue based colors, including dilutes. This litter would be intended to help establish our downunder line. Markings would likely be berkshire, hooded, and bareback.

RRR Navarre x RRR Sorcha
American Blue Bareback w/Headspot Downunder x Black Veriberk Rex Downunder
We would be expecting rex and smooth coat dumbos with downunder markings Black, American Blue, Russian Silver, and Russian Blue. It would be lilely that we would see dilutes as well. This litter would be intended to help stabilize the downunder markings. We would see a wide range of markings.

RRR Sylva x RRR Evolet
Black Bareback w/Headspot Smoothcoat x Powder Blue Bareback Rex
We would be expecting smoothcoat and rex coats in Black, American Blue, Russian Silver, and Russian Blue. We'd likely see some dilutes as well. Sylva has some belly spotting and would have a small chance for downunders in this litter as well along with Bareback and capped markings. Evolet has a very calm personality much like a boy, whereas Sylva is more active and acts like a girl. They are a good pair as far as confirmation and personality.

RRR Navarre x RRR Isabeau
American Blue Bareback w/Headspot Downunder x Russian Silver Berkshire Downunder
We would be expecting all smooth coat dumbos with downunder markings in several colors. American Blue, Russian Silver, Russian Blue, Russian Blue Agouti, with a good chance for dilutes. This litter would be intended to help stabilize the downunder markings.
October 7th, 2009 - On a seperate note, RRR is pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of our first outcross from Jenni's Mischief! With this outcross we will be adding dalmation markings into our line. We are adopting one female with the intention of pairing her with RRR Sylva and RRR Navarre. We will endeavor to keep the dalmation markings seperate from the downunders in order not to diminish either. Its the first step in creating two seperate lines here at RRR.
