Health: She became very lethargic last fall (2006) and wouldn't eat or drink. She barely had the energy to lift her head. The vet believes it was a stroke or possibly a very short-lived bout of pneumonia. She recovered well and never relapsed. On May 2nd, 2008 we discovered a small tumor developing in her mammary tissue, but at her age, removal would be greater risk than leaving it.
Temperment: Mab was one of our best tempered girls. She loved everyone.. other rats, people, dogs, cats, it didn't matter. In her older age however, she has become more troublesome with other females, but she's just a bully. She's not overly aggressive. She's very sweet and will give you as much attention as you let her. She never gets tired of you.
Comments: Mab is our little artist. I let her play in non-toxic paint once and we have a nice painting by her called Midnight Mabness. She has talent! She loves her red soft dog food (called Moist-n-Meaty) and will reach through the bars begging for it. And she's always good to show mommy that she left the cage door open heh
